In 2026 we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of the United States.

America250 is the national initiative commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States, celebrating the nation’s history, values, and future through education, engagement, and service.  The State Archives of NC will commemorate this event with One Day Wonders exhibits and events throughout the state.
